Come spring I shall be reborn. May the sunshine wash over me and bring me back to life.
THE MOUTH IS A CASTLE FOR DEFENDING AN IDEA
It’s hard to find Phoenix. Many live and visit but few truly uncover its truth. It’s hard to deny that a city founded on Valentine’s Day isn’t one of the most romantic in the world. Whether you agree or not, I couldn’t care less. Drive south down Central, starting at Camelback around sunset, and then get back to me but if your eyes are closed, open your ears. And if your ears are closed, open your heart. Cicadas and coyotes sing songs of longing. The sun shines with unabashed ferocity, and the rain crashes with forgiveness. See the city for what it is, and it will show you its truth. The city will absolve you, and it will remain long after you’re gone.
